Privacy and data
Operator and contact
boryczka.dev operates fixcode.eu and is the data controller. For questions about the site or personal data, write to [email protected].
Analytics relies on consent. Providing and securing the site, handling correspondence and remembering preferences serve the operator’s legitimate interests.
Hosting and technical logs
Cloudflare provides hosting and site protection. It may process your IP address, requested address and network traffic data when you connect.
Logs support availability, security and fault investigation. Their retention depends on the service and purpose; we retain them only as needed for those tasks or legal obligations.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we process your email address, message and attachments to reply and handle the matter. The operator and email provider may have access.
We keep correspondence as needed to handle the matter and establish or defend possible claims. Please do not send sensitive data or information unnecessary for your enquiry.
Browser preferences
Your analytics choice is saved in localStorage; consent is valid for 180 days. The record remains until replaced by another choice or site data is cleared. Your selected content tab is also stored locally until changed or site data is cleared.
The browser also caches page files for offline access. You can remove these in the site data settings; clearing the consent record means we will ask for your choice again.
Google Analytics only with consent
The Google Analytics 4 script loads only after consent, including a valid saved choice. Declining does not prevent use of the site. Advertising, ad personalisation and Google Signals are disabled.
Page measurement includes the title, page address and referring address, with query parameters and the fragment after # removed. We do not send text entered into the search box. Google also receives technical browser and connection data used for measurement.
Cookies and retention
The _ga and _ga_<id> cookies distinguish browsers and sessions; their default expiry is 2 years. Browsers may shorten this.
GA4 user and event data retention is set to 2 months, without resetting on new activity. Standard aggregated reports may remain available for longer.
Change or withdraw consent
Open “Analytics preferences” in the footer and choose “I decline”. This disables measurement and deletes GA cookies accessible to the site. This applies to this browser; set your choice separately on other devices.
Withdrawal does not apply retroactively or automatically erase data previously sent to Google. Contact the operator to exercise your data rights.
Providers and data transfers
Cloudflare handles hosting data; Google handles analytics data after consent. Providers may use infrastructure and subprocessors outside the European Economic Area.
Google’s privacy policy and data processing terms describe safeguards and transfer arrangements. The links below lead to the provider’s documents.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object, and complain to a supervisory authority. Contact the operator.
