F04Grid Rapid Overvoltage Protection
Name in the manufacturer's documentation (user manual): Grid Rapid Overvoltage Protection
[1]
In plain words (editorial)
A very fast rise of the grid voltage (or an abnormal voltage reading) triggered the protection. If it happens only occasionally it is a short-term grid issue: the inverter resumes normal operation on its own once the grid is normal again, without manual intervention.
When to call a service technician: If it happens frequently, contact your installer – the grid values may need to be checked with the local power operator; protection settings are changed only with the operator's approval.

For technicians
Possible causes (source text)
- Abnormal grid voltage detection or ultra-high voltage triggers the fault.[2]
Steps given by the manufacturer (source text)
- If it occurs occasionally, it may be caused by a short-term grid abnormality. The inverter will resume normal operation after detecting that the grid is normal, and no manual intervention is required.[3]
- If it occurs frequently, check whether the grid voltage is within the permissible range. If not, contact the local electric power operator. If it is, the Grid Undervoltage Protection setpoint also needs to be modified after obtaining the consent of the local electric power operator.[4]
- If it cannot be restored for a long time, check whether the AC-side circuit breaker and output cables are connected properly.[5]
⚠ Work on refrigerant circuits, mains electricity and PV DC wiring is for qualified technicians only.
