How to switch a Huawei SUN2000-M1 inverter off and on safely

  1. Turn off the AC switch between the SUN2000 and the power grid[1]
  2. Turn off the DC switch at the bottom of the SUN2000[2]
  3. Wait for 5 minutes after power-off; inverter still energized and hot[3]
  4. Turn on the AC switch between the SUN2000 and the power grid[4]
  5. Turn on the DC switch at the bottom of the SUN2000[5]
  6. If AC switch is OFF without known reason, check impedance before switching on[6]
  7. All three LEDs steady red: hardware faulty, replace inverter[7]
