Aquarea H split: water pressure, water filter and outdoor unit care

Check the pressure gauge now and then and keep the outdoor unit vents clear (also of snow). The water filter must be cleaned at least once a year – the manual refers this to an authorised dealer.

  1. Ensure that the water pressure is between 0.05 and 0.3 MPa (0.1 MPa = 1 bar)[1]
  2. In case the water pressure is out of the above range, consult an authorised dealer[2]
  3. Clean the water filter at least once a year[3]
  4. Failure to do so may cause the filter to clog up, which may lead to system breakdown. Consult an authorised dealer[4]
  5. Do not obstruct the air inlet and outlet vents[5]
  6. When it snows, clean and remove snow around the outdoor unit[6]
  7. Disconnect the power supply before cleaning[7]
  8. Wipe the unit gently with a soft dry cloth; do not splash water directly[8]
  9. Disconnect the power supply then consult an authorised dealer: abnormal noise, water leaks from indoor unit, breaker switches off frequently, power cord excessively warm[9]
